    Hi Gary,

Are CAMTAO events open to everyone? If so, will announcements of the events be made with a reasonable amount of advance notice? I know the camtao website has an announcement for a March 12th card, but I assume that is already fixed and filled out. A decent amount of notice for upcoming matches and a good communications department would definately go a long way to seeing the success of camtao. It seems a lack of communication has been a hinderance for the growth of the sport in Ontario. Good luck with the event.

The CAMTAO events are not open to everyone, they are open though to every Member club. We do this for many reasons, such as Safety, quality control, and to satisfy the Government concerns, as well as insurance concerns. Any Muay Thai school may join CAMTAO and is highly encouraged to do so. We place events on our events page asap. We are currently working on a June event that will bring back Romania, and quite possibly the Phillipines, India, and Thailand. This is hard to commit to far in advance due to alot of political issues regarding their countries requirements for visa and such. I hope that I have answered your questions satisfatorly and welcome any and all questions in the forum on in private to me at cam_taovp@hotmail.com

I'd like to thank you for your interest in our Association. We at CAMTAO are devoted to promoting Muay Thai to the province of Ontario, as well as the remaining provinces in our nation. We also are promoting our athletes and our sport internationally. I look forward to discussing this in greater detail at your convenience.

      Yours Truly
      Gary Dunne
