Integrating Kung Fu with Muay thai

My first Thaiboxing instructor (and kali/silat instructor) noted that all Asian countries have rice, the main difference is that they prepare it differently.
In this case, I prefer Thai rice. Filipino and Indonesia rices are quite good as well. It is my sense, however, that most of the East Asian rice varieties suffer from "classical mess" syndrome.
That is, I don't put a lot of faith in "founding myth" type martial arts histories, especially by martial artists who aren't historians.

Oh yes, just to let you know, I am an academically trained historian as well as a ring trained Muay Thai artist.

Thai Jasmine rice is awesome. Never had the Filipino or Indonesian varieties. Indian Basmati rice is quite good too. Strangely enough, I like the Japanese sticky sushi rice as well.
