From what I've noticed, In Thailand, it is very rare for a fighter who started fighting at the age of 8 to continue fighting actively even beyond their early twenties. Often times fighters will go into a semi-retirement when they hit their mid-twenties, and come out for the occasional paycheck. Of course, there are exceptions.
