  • NYC CAMPS? The WAT

Hello all, I know that some of you are in the NYC area and have trained in some of the gyms so here's my question:

I've done a bit of research and I've decided that the WAT, with Kru Nurse is the place for me, however, I am a bit anxious and wanted to see if any of you can fill me in on the atmosphere and just the way the gym is run. I want to be at a camp where there is comraderie and more like a training camp than a "unpersonalized class". I'm thinking about joining on the yearly plan and training 4 days a week..so I want to be sure that I'm going to be with a bunch of guys that care and are patient.
Also, i don't just want to be in a class that is like a cheezy kickboxing class that you find for free at the NYSC or Ballys's kinda deal. I want it to be steeped in traditional Muay Thai.

Another thing is that I am not flexible at all..will this be a problem?

Since some of you may, or still, train at the WAT any advice or input would be MUCH APPRECIATED.

    Thanks,
    C
