Hey guys just have a few questions
i am interested in starting muay thai again and ive been weight training for a few years, I am not sure if i should stop body building or continue doing it while im doing muay thai

ive come to the conclusion that the bigger you are the more people are gonna pick fights with you, and if you dont know how to fight, then being big is useless

keep in mind that when i say big i dont mean ronnie coleman big, i mean lean muscle with a bit of bulk

so i am not sure if i should continue with the bodybuilding or just stop and concentrate on muay thai
i also want to know what muscles get worked from doing muay thai

also can anyone tell me any muay thai places in sydney, australia
i know of one sinosic-perosh in concord but is there any other options
i am in the ryde area but dont mind travelling to the inner west or even parramatta

Boxers and thai boxers definitely benefit from functional strength training.

just keep working out and keep training in mt. for the most part, people wont wanna start fights with u if u are built. they may size u up, but if u just be cool and avoid potential problems, u will be ok.

i myself was into weight lifting before i started muay thai and i still continue to lift weights. it aint a big deal. it will make u perform better, thats for sure.

muay thai pretty much works your whole body, except for biceps. your biceps i think are about the only part of your body that wont get much of a workout from muay thai.
