  • Looking for a Video

There was a movie out in the early 90's, I think. It was about an American Kickboxing team and a Koren Kickboxing team fighting in a tournoment. One of the Korens only had one eye. I'm trying to remember the name of it. If anyone knows it please post it. Thanks.

Funny, in the movie the fighting is brutal and they're punching in the face and hitting to the back of the head and back. Olympic tkd does contact striking, but no punching to the head, no elbows or knees. Mainly, what you see is all upper body kicks- roundhouse snap kicks, a lot of jumping kicks, front & side kicks, spin kicks, crescent kicks, and very little hand work.

that's because even though oylimpic tkd is full contact( at least under ustu rules) an oylimpic tkd judge wouldn't know what costitutes a good punch if it crawled up his ass and died. Respectfully yours, a fmr full contact tkd fighter with a 1st degree bb in wtf tkd(could have bee a 2nd but didn't fell like getting fleced any more ) and a fmr and hopefullly to be again kickboxer.
