Let me know if you have any luck. That's the only info I have on them too, and I'd be interested in checking them out. I miss MT training.

Sorry to say it guys, but Gold Lion is out of business. I passed it, and it had this giant mural of various boxers, but the windows were boarded up and it was definitely abandoned. I heard great things about it too

Well I'm not sure actually, I only checked out Franco's Kickboxing/Pankration, and I didnt like the guys attitude and style, more like a military school then a gym, and he provided no technical help.

Unfortunately, there isnt too much that is close to UBC that I have checked out. My friend goes to Kikara academy, but it looks a little too commercial for my tastes, and I'm not sure if it teaches Muay Thai.

I just take San Shou Do (Chinese Free fighting) at the University gym as well as Judo, but I'm really upset I cant do Muay Thai. If you find anything decent, let me know on here.

Muay Thai Kickboxing in Richmond BC, Canada

I know of a place in richmond for Kickboxing and Muay Thai Kickboxing. I've been planning to join, but I still haven't been able to get around to it, since I've been quite busy. I don't know how good or bad the place is, but if you guys are interested, 278-8884 is the number to call. If you guys do happen to take it, please give me some feedback! =)

The instructor is refered to as "Sensei", and they have belt colours. Might not be pure Muay Thai.

It looks as if the guy has done some training in Thailand though. If you go, ask him for how long and how many fights he had.

Yea it doesnt say. Im gonna phone them later on today to ask.

And if you look up the "sensei" Mehdi Pouroskoui on google you wont really find anythin bad on him. i only found fights that hes one so it cant be all that bad. I would still be dissapointed if it was all like "sir yes sir sensei". But then again im desprate for muay thai.
