Thai Boxing gym in Rochester, NY?

Hey guys, I am wondering that if any of you can refer me to a good Muay Thai trainer and gym in Rochester, NY because I am going to RIT next Fall 2005 and would like to start training and competing. Please, any help is appericated.

im from buffalo and havent heard of any. There is a guy i know who teaches in buffalo and trains in cambridge. I was actually lookin fer something myself though and dont want to go to canada, but its lookin like i might have 2

i found an instructor named wally mcdonald in rochester. he is close to RIT.

I know Wally MacDonald. He is solid at Sanda, MMA, Judo, and Boxing. Undefeated in MMA I think.

He is a very nice guy and his gym dues are very cheap.

I fully recommend you check it out.

i just spoke to him. he does thai boxing. he also does a 1-on-1 site training. so its going to be great. i hope that i will bring my car with me.

and type in martial arts. I looked a couple days ago and was able to find a few muey thai schools.

Could you post a few links to the Muay Thai schools. I grew up around there and unless someone recently moved into the area and opened a gym, Wally's gym Empire Boxing is the only place to learn Thaiboxing (actually K-1 style) in Rochester.


Dan Lucus claimes to teach Muay Thai, but has never trained Muay Thai.
Dan is a good fighter and teaches Full Contact kickboxing very well, but it's not Muay Thai.
