leather vs. synthetic leather thai bag?

Campus YMCA was the one I was going to last semester. University of illinois YMCA on chalmers street. Twin Dragon Kempo, my instructor was Clark Brooks. Recently I met a guy named Keith Pedigo at a church and he's a jui-jitsu mastermind. I go over to his house in the country to train with him on the weekends.

I would go with a leather bag if possible, we use almost all leather bags here at the camp and they seem like they last a long despite the daily poundings and weather changes. Also you can adjust the fillings, can start softer than fill to a more firm density with other materials like sand, gravel, cut tires, etc.
