  • Funk in the gloves

My gloves are starting to smell like a combination of moldy garlic ass feet. Unfortunately it was my fault for leaving them in the trunk of a hot car all night after working out in them.

Anybody have any suggestions as to how to un-funk them?

Ever notice that hand wraps are cheap lol. I get new ones when they start getting crappy.

For the gloves, do this. Get 2 pairs of practice gloves. Take turns with them and keep them at home.

So the funk will go away as I rotate gloves? Or do I have to do something else once its in there?

Ive never dealt with "funk in gloves", Id say get some antibatcerial spray and see what happens.

To prevent (or at least delay) funky hand wraps, don't re-roll them until they're dry.

Well This usually gets tid of the funk.
Sun the bastards. I mean pick the hotest freaking day and put the bastards out in the sun. Those tend to work well for the wraps. For the gloves, might i recommend pouring some rubbing alcohol into them then put the asses in the sun. Not too much though. That should kill most of the bacteria and fungi in there. And unlike other cleaning methods, the alcohol will dry really quickly.

NOTE: Make Sure the alcohol won't damage the gloves. Test first by pouring a little. If you see the color fade badly, skip the alcohol idea and just sun them.
