  • diffrent medicine ball and bag drills(speed bag-double ended bag)

    hello every one, i workout at home right now, but was trianing in Mui Thai, i want to compete some day, in both MT and MMA cage fights. My question is does anyone have some drills on speed bags/medicine ball/ and the double ended bag? My double ended bag is called a punch and kick bag, and is about chin level to a 5'5 person. any pointers?
    also i am not sure about this, my old instructor said that me being a big guy(6ft 315-325 #s is good, i like to thinkim in decent shape, although large. I have pretty good speed but a lot of work couldnt hurt, and i do work out every day, but i am trying to drop to 275 and then bulk back up to 300 with msucle,,, any thoughts on that also plse...ive done some research on fighters in my area, and im not saying bigger is better, but im so far the biggest guy if i can actually get on the circut..
    also i am 31 yrs old. does that make a diffrence...is there an age limit to competing?

    And one last thing,and this thing sucks....I have a pinched siotic nerve in my back on the left side. it doenst disable me from trianing, but does hinder my kicks from the left side and some of my stretchin. It hurts mostly when im sitting down for long period of time( like right now-ha-ha) and usually doesnt bother me for my other routines.any suggestions or insight on that???
