The new gym i am starting offers all 3 of the above classes, i plan on mainly taking muay thai(each cls is offered 5-6 days a week)grappling on to two days a week, and the n boxing on saturday....that incorporated with my daily routine at home.....I am obviously trying to get into competition level in both Muay Thai and MMA cage Fighting....will i be overdoing it,or is it ok to do all the above......My main thing is and has been Thai Boxing, but i like the hand speed that boxing offers, and of course the grappling because of the MMa style....Any thoughts/ Suggestions??????

its a good idea. i have the same deal, i train at a good mma gym so i can train in multiple disciplines individually if i want to. take advantage of it and learn as much as you can.

the only problem is that you may not be able to keep that strict of a routine exactly the way you want it because some days you might just be too tired or too sore to train and will have to rest till you are 100% again.

and one thing you may want to consider is training in muay thai/boxing only for a while so you can get a real good base in it before moving on to grappling.

I see nothing wrong with blending them...just remember certain "no-no's" for different fighting competitions...i.e. no bob and weave in muay thai, no kicking, kneeing, elbowing or grappling in boxing, and no "grounding" in either boxing or muay thai.
