  • New to MT, book advice?

Hey guys, im new to the board and to MT.Been going for about 3 weeks now and im loving every second of it.I love it so much that I must know more!

Im looking for a good book about MT.About the history, technique, training ect ect ive gone through the net and googled but i end up re-reading the same stuff.Anyone know of some good books that I could pick up? Maybe some documentary dvds?

quick question...i take 3 classes a week but i really just want to go to the gym everyday to work on my shins.Would it be a bad idea to spend and hour or two a day just kicking a heavy bag to condition and work on density?
Is there anything eles I could do to improve shin density...supplements ect?

    Cheers.

That's actually the only advisable method I'd go to for shin conditioning. You've got the right idea...go kick that bag 500x each leg, every day...at least, on top of your regular training. Hard kicks with good form (watch where you swing your hands, I still mess up) are better than fast flashy kicks.
