I used to move alot like you suggest and the only thing it did was wear me down faster. When you work on defense and are breaking for a bit during a round, shouldn't you keep moving - your head that is so it stays a moving target?Originally posted by Mike BrewerI think the best part of the video is that the boxer is not moving his feet just to move them. He's satying in his range and hitting from there. And when he circles or pivots (with the exception of when he just backed out and threw down his hands), he's ending up right where he needs to be to throw again.
That's tough for a lot of people - moving only when and how far you need to. Most folks are content just to bounce all over the place, mistaking "motion" for "action."
