    Elbows cause some nasty damage. There was some real deep cuts on this thread. I would hate to deal with any of them. That's the price we pay though.

    I've seen one like that, exact same angle, but starting at the left eye and going across the nose (from axe-elbow). It took place outside on the street

    *sigh* Cuts from elbows is pretty much the only reason I would not want to fight in a full Muay Thai match. I don't care if it knocks me out as long as it doesn't maim my skin...I've got a day job, and I wouldn't want my opponent to bleed potential diseases all over me.

    It may do, but imagine the splite ends?

    These guys should wear head gear and then elbow away to their hearts content. Cuts may get a fight stopped...... but they don't stop a fighter.

    Good reason to completely shave your head before the fight. Makes stitching a lot easier!

    Hmmmm.... Are there any theories on whether or not having a full head of hair offer any protection?
