"A Fighter's Heart," by Sam Sheridan: anyone know this guy/read this book?

I saw this author Sam Sheridan touting his new book "A Fighter's Heart: One Man's Journey Through the World of Fighting" on the Daily Show a week or two ago, and it looks pretty interesting. Sheridan went to Thailand and tracked down Apidej Sit-Hirun to train him at Fairtex gym and won a fight or a couple of fights, then went to Iowa to train with Pat Miletech, then to Brazil to train some BJJ, and so on. It sounds pretty interesting. Anyone read it or know him?

I read it, and thought that it was a very good read, especially his first visit to Thailand. He does get banged up a little, so he is forced to observe a lot of the time. I did enjoy it.
