Hello to the forum hope there are people from Tulsa and Broken Arrow on this site. My question where is a good place locally to train in Muay Thai that is affordable for both my son and I, and that is kid friendly. My son and I have Martial Arts background and feel this would be more challenging both mentally and physically for us. please send me some feed back thanks.

Revised Re-post To Muay Thai In Tulsa And Broken Arrow Ok
I Felt I Needed To Include The Fact I Have Already Done Some Checking Into The Local Muay Thai Gyms, I Will Not Mention Any Names As So Not To Offend. In One Gym For My Son And I(he Is 8yrs Of Age I Am 31) To Train 3 Times A Week They Want $198.00 Up Front For The Processing Fee, Plus $160.00 For The Monthly Dues, As A Token Of Appreciation They Give You A T-shirt, Thai Shorts, And Hand Wraps. I Understand To Have A Business Their Is Overhead Such As Rent, Insurance, Equipment, And Payroll. So You Have To Make Money But Not Off One Guy Or So It Seems. I Don't Want To Come Off As If I'm A Complainer, Just Frustrated. Also Keep In Mind I Am Told Their Are 130 Active Members At This Place You Due The Math. The Owner Trained Under The Late Terry Gibson Who From What I Have Read Was So Passionate About The Growth And Exposure Of His Art Here In The Tulsa, Broken Arrow Area. To Here People Talk About This Man Touches Me, Kids Loved Him And Adults Wanted To Be Like Him. He Didn't Give Lessons Away But He Charged A Fair Price, And You Got What You Payed For From This Man He Made Sure Of It In Other Words He Cared About The Direction You Were Going In, He Taught Values Such As Good Work Ethic, Honesty And Respect In Bigger Schools These Principles Have Been Put Aside So To Make More Money. For Those Of You Who Don't Know He Was Very Accomplished He Easily Could've Been An Arrogant Guy But That Was Not In His Spirit The Mighty Dollar Did Not Corrupt Him Nor Compromise His Character. Now His School Has Been Bought Out By Another Man Don't Know About Him To Much, Just Know That It's Geared Towards The Mma Crowd Nothing Wrong With That A Man Needs To Be Diverse But For Myself My Son And I Want To Learn Traditional Muay Thai Or As Close To As We Can. I Will Stop There Please Send Some Honest Input Back At Me.
