  • MMA training at Chay Yai gym

I'm wondering if Chay Yai gym still hold MMA classes. If so, is it BJJ based, or is it simply submission grappling. Shark pls kindly advise.

I have heard serious news that Pedro is returning to Brazil. This may mean the Grappling aspect of Chai Yai gym may be closed down.

Pedro fought last night, the fight was stopped in the 4th after the Thai got hit waith a barrage of elbows. Pedro is leaving at the end of August and another trainer from Brazilian Top Team will come in October .

Thanks shark for the update. How about Tiger Gym? Do they offer BJJ as well? This is not for me since I'm strictly a mauythai fan, bur for other Thais who may be interested in BJJ.

Im not sure, from what i know their trainers seem to come and go. They have a very good black belt at Legacy and a team of guys that are there long term so if i was going to suggest somewhere other than Chay-yai i would say Legacy for sure. Ole is a nice guy and passionate about both MMA and Muay Thai.
