  • Kraus vs. Por Pramuk

Kraus is the superior boxer with heavier hands; Pramuk has baseball-bat kicks and superior clinch control. Great fight!

Por Pramuk keeps his hands high in the traditional muaythai style, has a light-narrow stance and is light on his feet. Kraus keeps his hands at his chin like a boxer, keeps a little lower stance with more base. You could probably count the number of kicks he throws on one hand.

Por Pramuk earns Krauses's respect with his lead leg right away, where Kraus forces Por Pramuk to go to clinch or back track with his punches..

I would have liked to seen Por Pramuk use his teep alot more both offensively and defensively against some of Krauses jab or cross leads; it would do more damage to Kraus and keep him in kicking range, where he can hammer away with those lead leg cut kicks.

          super fight, 2005?

It was after Buakaw won the Max tournament in 2004, probably early in 2005, Krauss wins because he got the knock down in the first round. In the 2005 tourney, they fight again and Buakaw spanks Krauss. But, becuase he spent himself maybe a bit too much getting revenge, he ends up loosing to Andy Sawr (Sp?) in the final round. It will be interesting to see who wins in the final round on 10/3.
