  • Starting muay thai

Im about to start training for muay thai and I wanted to get the input of all you experienced fighters out there. Im training at Jorge Gurgels gym in Ohio and the muay thai instructor is Dorian Price. from what I have seen of him, I am pretty impressed (cant wait to start). I heard he trained with master toddy. do you think his style should be pretty authentic? i wish i would have started earlier but I'm only 26, I think I can run with it and kick some ass!
6'2 190lbs. would love to drop 15. I just hope I don't gas to hard at first.

best advice, train hard, learn all you can and take your time before getting in the ring.

You dont want to rush things and get your head kicked in.

    good luck and have fun

I say just go for it man, I've never had as much fun with a style as Muay Thai, albiet i only did it for about 7 months I really keep meaning to find a new class.

Don't worry about gassing n stuff...you have to start somewhere right?
