I know I cannot speak before having watched the movie but I hope this will put an end to the Ong Bak serie because from the looks of it, it seems Tony Jaa is repeating himself. I am sure the action will be great but the originality and the freshness of the first Ong Bak were absent in the sequel.
The elements of Khmer culture can be interesting, provided they go beyond the dancing. THere's so much to be used from these nations' pasts they should have a look at that.
