Hard to believe! They have their reasons but it is sad, it takes away a piece of history of the sport. Hopefully the new stadium will be a really good one.

It all has to do with money. The present site is worth a lot of dough. The new stadium will be much better, yet the army officials involved will pocket some extra cash. The present Lumpini doesn't have long history as Ratchadamnern Stadium, yet Ratchdamnern stadium is air-conditioned.
