how often should you train a week???

I practice thaiboxing three times a week and i think that it aint enough. I am training boxing at the same time, but still, thaiboxing has something special that makes me want to train all the time. SO i dont think that there really is some sertain amount of training sessions per week. Train as much as you can/want. and Increace/decreace the amount if it feels like it.

I reckon its based on how much you love your martial art. If your like me I got about 3 times a week to judo, when I can as I just love having a scrap
Yeah and exactly what Holte2 said its what you accomplish in the session, no point in going to trainning and standing round chatting to other guys and then say ya went to trainning. Always go hard and be your best at every trainning session.

If your there to stay in shape and lose weight, 3 days a week by doing the classes. If your there to learn but don't want to give all your attention, 4 days a week plus classes, and a bit of bag work. If your at advanced level and are really serious in amateur or pro matches, 6 days a week of heavy training and drills, plus sparring. I'm at my gym 6-7 days a week.
