Do squats to build up the legs. They'll also help build up the rest of the body.

Getting a ripped body? That probably means an adjustment in the diet is needed. Each person is different so it's hard to say. Best advice I can give would be to go to a local gym and ask some bodybuilders for advice, pro or am. MOST will usually be quite helpful. There are some that are complete dickheads.

If your friend is interested in getting ripped, then he has to change his training and focus on that goal, even if it means that he has to set some things aside for a little while. The weights that he lifts play a huge role in how his body responds, if he wants to get ripped, he's gotta do light weight, high reps ( 3 sets of poundages that allow you to do 15-20 reps work for me.) He's also gotta do lots of cardio, at least three times a week, so that his body burns fat more efficiently. His diet also has a great impact on how he builds muscle, your friend is gonna have to cut back on his caloric intake while he's training, if you give me his height and weight I could figure his average caloric intake per day. Tell your friend to focus on foods that have protein and " wet carbs" such as lettuce and other fruits. Hope this helps.

Knowledge iz 2 be told not sold!

To rip up you should try Ephdra-Free Hydroxycut by muscle tech. It increases your metabolism by 400%. You can drop your sets/reps to 5/5 per exer., doing this will help with strength and not as much as size. Do a high intensity weight program. What I do is 5/5 on everything except my shoulders (5/10 per exer.) and
my midsection 5/15 per exer. I do a Giant set (no rest between 3 exer.) of Cable Curls, Hyper Extentions, and Side-Bends. just to let you know I practice for the streets so I try to develop all the muscles that protect vunerable targets especially the ones under your armpit (serratus anterior "The Boxer's muscle") and down.

If one kicks, punches, elbows, knees, and headbutts and does pain conditioning does that make one a kick boxer or a person
with a wide arsenal of defense techniques?

I'm a naturally a boxer but I'll destroy your knee joint in a second.
Versatility is the key of life

            I'm big into weights.
If you got any specific questions, fire away and I'll try give you a relevant answer(relevant to thaiboxing that is).

Remember, the bad thing about bodybuilding and thaiboxing is the extra mass pushes you up the weight divisons.
