Ok, those Ultraman shorts (TB-022N) have got to be the coolest things I`ve ever seen in my life. Perfect if I ever have to go into the ring with a giant rubber lobster-man.

It's my belief that the Twins poster and Twins Gear are one in the same but hey, I could be wrong. Whether or not your order took three months I have no idea but when you are doing business in volume, things unfortunately happen. I'm absolutely certain that Twins Gear ie; Twinsthaiboxing has had the same things happen to them as we have, I know as we've also picked up some customers from their site for the very same thing you mention about us. We also have a large customer base of customers who get their items in a couple of weeks and if things do take longer than expected, we make it a point to throw in free videos, stickers, liniment, shorts, etc.
All of the items that Twins makes or can make, we carry. This also goes for Thaismai, Windy, Sandee, "W" and Fairtex. If they have the ability to make something, we have it or can get it. Twinsthaiboxing does exactly the same thing as we do and contrary to what some people think, they are not Twins. I had no intention of nor do I have any intention of slamming their site or anyone elses, there is plenty of business for all of us. We are very happy with the phenominal growth we've seen in the last few years and alot of this is because of Twins. Someone wants to buy from them great, they want to buy from us, even better... But I will be honest with you and tell you that at this point I am leaning more towards Twinsgear.com to be my equipment supplier: I train at the gym owned by the same people who own Twinsgear.com and they give me tons of free Twins items, in return I promote the websites. However I am not on their payroll so you are welcome to do the same and I will gladly promote your store as well!
I am glad that you agree that competition is a good thing. I am always on the net and I have been reading some of your companies posts on various forums. I am surprised how your employees get away with being so rude to potential customers/ other forum users at times? What are they so angry about? It seems like they sell Thai products but don't really care for Thai culture. (I have never seen a Thai person raise their voice)
In any case I understand it takes a very long time to get products from Thailand and doing business with different cultures is challenging in itself. So I am not complaining about your site. I will order again because there are some products your site has which the others don't have.
As far as people thinking Twinsgear.com is Twins: nowhere does it say in their site that they are the Twins factory. They state clearly that they are a distributor.
Like you said there is plenty of business for all companies and there are hundreds of these equipment companies out there.
I guess it is all about marketing, advertising, professionalism and actually delivering the products as promised, even if it takes long. But what do I know I am just a steakhead wannabe Thaiboxer!Comment

While we use the Thai Boxing Gear name when posting, as the saying goes...the opinions expressed (especially regarding personal matters) by me are not neccesarily the opinons of Thai Boxing Gear. Yes, I use the Thai Boxing Gear name but if I'm posting about boxing or Muay Thai or anything else not related to business, I will speak my mind. I'd rather have people respect me for what I am than what I am not. In other words, I speak straight....unlike for instance, politicians. Money is not going to change that.Comment

Muay Thai Shorts
We've purchased shorts for our gym from twinsgear and so far have been happy with them. Ercivan is great at tossing in extra gifts especially if there is any delay in our shipping. I like being able to order customized shorts and not be stuck with shorts that look like everyone elses. I would be interested in trying shorts from thaiboxingear also, to see how they compare both in price and quality.Comment

Thaiboxinggear custom shorts
Hi, I ordered a pair of custom shorts from Thaiboxinggear, emailing the Thai translation of what I wanted (which I came up with from an online Thai-English dictionary) and the Thaiboxinggear people gave a few suggestions on cleaning up the wording and they ended up putting together a great pair of shorts. While the Ultraman shorts are great, I think that custom shorts, which aren't that different in price than ones you'd buy in the states, are the way to go.
