  • warming up before a fight

What are your experiences when you warm up before a fight ?
Is it that bad to do a few rounds(2-3) at a very high intensity and then slow it down until the fight begins ? I assume that if you are used to a 2 hrs training ,your body is used to it . Or is it better to save most of the energy for the fight .
    Thanks for your input.

we rest at least one full day before a fight sometimes two full days. as far as warming up before a fight just some light shadowboxing to shake the chill off.

If we are fighting saturday night we have a fittness lesson tuesday & a light lesson on thursday & just go through the motions with techniques & rules for show then just rest.
people i know do Shadow boxing, light stretch/limbering & a light warm up on the thai pads.

In Thailand they have a full body massage.
