    In Zoracs book , you see the fighters clinching . However , they interlace their fingers . I thought this isn't the way to do it . Can somebody comment why they would do it that way ?

    PROs: Lacing your fingers allows you a bit better placement, specifically from your ulna bones, on the portion of your opponent's neck near the nerves in the spine.

    CONs: You cannot do this with boxing gloves on. In addition, the couter is easy in that the opponent reaches behind his neck and grabs several fingers.

      And if your thrown or the arm is tugged because the fingers are so stronglly interlocked that something must give so your knuckles tend to pop.
