Yo, you can get it for 7 bucks with shipping on video cd from ethaicd.com I got it, good quality, but no subs, not that you need them. Anyways, I highly suggest everyone puts seven bucks down ffor this as opposed to waiting to download a crappy version off the internet.

Ong Bak Availability

For those of you who can’t or won’t download it, BeCubic06 is right about eThaiCD.com having it. However, the DVD version they have is only for zone 3, but if you get the VCD it should play on your PC and some DVD players since it’s encoded in a MPEG format.

But if you don’t want to wait go to a Lao or Thai store and ask for it. If they don’t have a copy they’ll probably order one for you. I paid $8 USD for mine.

If you have the VCD and you’re using a PC, open the file \MPEGAV\AVSEQ04.dat on the first disk and \MPEGAV\AVSEQ01.dat on the second disk.

So, is Ong Bak 2 for real or just an internet rumor?

Ong Bak is a very good movie... Although I had a hard time deciphering much of the language... My Grandfather is Thai/French so he sent me a copy from Thailand. The movie uses stylized Muay Thai but this movie still rocks.... It puts Jet Li and Jackie Chan movies to shame.
