Wing chun rocks for street defence
Hahahahahah – Anucha, you’re a joke mate. Seven years of training and you haven’t learnt a basic respect for other martial arts systems and what they train for/try and achieve. It sounds like you’ve done too much sparring and done yourself some brain damage.
Don’t get me wrong I know muay thai is a good system that produces tough, fit conditioned fighters. But Wing chun is also a wicked system for the street – that’s why so many bouncers train it. It works in a range most fights happen in. It’s not about ducking in and out and sparring and getting absolutely f*cking slaughtered when you come up against a bigger, more conditioned fighter – it’s about finishing the job as quickly as possible, using natural advantage of being in or getting in close, no deadly techniques BS that you suggest just simple, brutal attacks (chops to the throat, elbows, explosive palms and punches). If it’s trained properly and realistically it’s just as effective as any martial art – including muay thai for street defence. Muay thai people that say differently having got a f*cking clue what they are on about.
