Firstoff, that was just MMA wearing casual clothing.

Second, A then B then C 'defenses' are not feasible for real life violent encounters.

The knife defenses were ridiculous and would almost certainly get you killed. Even if they were potentially usable (which they are not), nobody attacks you with a knife the way that the guy in the pictures did.
