Im pretty sure this person would be aware the longer it took a style to neutralize an attack, the less street safe this style would be. Any fighting style which hindered your ability to evade, run, or fight multiple opponents would be considered suicidal in this training program and therefore avoided. Any style that has no weapon training or defenses against weapons, would be stupid to train for street SD as well.
Boar...I agree wholeheartedly with what you've said up there...

Hey man, I just got to thinking...when you first started posting here didn't you think taji was the be-and-end-all of everything? Didn't we also argue alot...I mean...I remember an incident when I acted like a smart ass with the "Art of War" thing, thinking it was Sun Tzu only, and you pointed to Nicolo Machievelli....don't know why I began thinking about that...

Maybe we're being too hard on these trolls man...first impressions don't mean everything...we certainly didn't get along at first.

        Naw...****'em.

Hey man I still think Taiji is the best thing out there IF you intend to spend your entire life practicing it (childhood to the grave) Think about it dude, i do one short Taiji fighting form multiple times a day. Every day 365 days a year NO exceptions. I have plenty of other styles i have studied since childhood, yet its the taiji that i do most. Why? Because i have discovered the techniques (or their equivelant) of the other styles hidden in taiji. I wouldnt have the time to teach and train every style i know every day, much less still have time for talkin with the great folks here

Yet i can train the concepts of those arts in my Taiji form everyday.

BTW, I hope you make it out here one day, i think you'll have fun.

Hey Tom Yum, same invite extends to you, Brewer knows he has a standing invite.

Oh and ugh DUDE, (KT) you're welcome back anytime, we had a blast, hope you did as well

Not really............ I just think its applicable in the street. I don't like watching the gracies.

Edit: Just watched it... Thats a sorry excuse for a streetfight lol
come on, slapping him and letting him take off his slippers? That's no different than an MMA fight both squaring off a little....... I base my opinions on what I practice not on what I see on TV sorry.

I think I saw you say you sparred in Taiji? How many times a week do you spar?
From what I understood you did a form each day but what about the sparring?

We train against live opponents told "hit me" on a regular basis, people "go" until its mutually obviuos someone is screwed. However that being said the amount of resistance that can be used is limited to prevent serious injury.

Its hard to understand until you have seen/felt a good Taiji/Baqua attack, it isnt something you want to experience at more than about 5 percent of total body power.

Good internal Martial arts are rare Those who can fight with them are even rarer It's hard to admit but for the most part fighting with the internal arts is nearly extinct.

Your stupidity is common though and actions speak way louder than your words.

Master Poor Bear says no to Master of street defences, and apparently this Forum belongs to him so we shouldn't argue.
