People that practice internal Martial Arts don't have any interest in fighting. That is why they practice many movements slowly it is just for health benefits. They are not getting ready to fight a man that won't stop punching them, kicking them and head butting them etc until they are ko'd.

Your mistake here is thinking you are Gods gift to Martial Arts when in fact you are a nerd learning Martial Arts sitting at a keyboard. Why don't you try your hand against Vitor Belfort, or Royce or Rickson Gracie, or may Chuck Liddel then tell me Taiji is better?

I don't know you and don't care to, this is not your forum or your thread. Oh and your over use of emotions is lame. As I said actions speak louder than your meaningless words.

So you ARE a complete moron without any idea about the internal arts... The movements are practiced slowly to burn them into the CNS and hide them from morons like you who are too stupid to see the applications hidden in the movements....

Hey Boar, I sent you a message telling you I wasn't talking about Tom, I was talking about Richard. And I commended Tom, not trash talked him. Stop putting me in the "Troll" category. Maybe if you could read you'd figure it out

Anyway, when did I say going to your back was good in a real fight? I have said that it sometimes happens, and it would be better to know how to fight off your back, but I didn't say going to your back was a good tactic. I know what really works and what doesn't, I been there, done that. Don't put words in my mouth.

Maybe I will become a Master of street defense, or maybe not? Maybe i'll die trying? Maybe nobody is perfect.

Maybe I should stop writing now?

Sheeeeesh! I could see where this thread would go before I finished reading it! Does THAT make me aware? What a brain fart...

So since BJJ is like a bullet proof shield it must be the perfect art for street smart masters of defense. No worries about carloads of gangsters driving by with automatic weapons shooting at you... because BJJ also gives you the ability to take the gun away right?

"If someone points a gun at you, of course, you will be scared. But jiu-jutsu gives me the equivalent of a bullet proof shield. It protects me from head to toe, plus it gives me the ability to take a gun away."

Helio Gracie. via Doug Jeffrey. (From the April '05 issue of GRAPPLING magazine)

If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.
                          Henry David Thoreau

In other words folks people like the BJJ nuthuggers posting here in the urban combatives forum are OUT THERE! Time for a reality check, eh?
