Clipping the knife to the seatbelt isn't a bad idea, but personally if I'm in stop and go traffic, or on a slow (35 mph or slower) road with a lot of traffic lights I usually unbuckle my seat belt. Not every where I go, but most places in town, and certainly any time that my car is blocked by other traffic. The day I need to defend myself I don't intend to be strapped down.

Yeah good thinking. Cos car assaults are far more common than car crashes right Einstein.

Well, I was thinking the same thing that Nutter was(but not as disrespectfully). I think sometimes martial artists get too caught up about actually having to use what they learned. I wonder how many of you had situations in which you really had to use what you know. I mean, don't most people here live in nice places where crime is fairly low? I'm not sure I'd unbuckle my seatbelt in anticipation of an assualt within my car.

I think it all depends on where you live.

            You need help.

Anyway, hapkido is clearly the best martial art for fighting from your car. This is because the US special forces train in it and they drive cars too. Also, Hapkido is an ancient art and in the olden days the hapkido warriors needed to defend against certain ronin who were also car thieves.

Because he said he takes his seat belt off to prepare for a possible attack, when he's in his car and driving less than 35mph. That is the hight of paranoia. And, to be honest, downright silly. I bet he checks his house every night for bombs and thinks everyone is out to kill him.

The guy is clearly in need of some kind of mental therapy.

Yes he fucking does. He's a fucking mental case if he takes his seat belt off whilst driving his car just in case he gets attacked.

He's right up there with the people who wonder about pushing a pram full of empty cans.

                      Total fucking madman.

I take my pants off to prepare for certain kinds of 'attacks' but it doesn't make me paranoid.....

....hell, if you eat chilli with as many spices as I do, you'd understand.

No, I think that makes you a rapist.

I don't want to know about you attacking people without your pants on Tom Yum. And to be honest, I find your kind fucking sick. You disgust me ... rapist!

Let me know before that chili cook-off starts so I have time to pack a duffle bag and get to the fall-out shelter
