  • Pressure points, vital points

Hey guys, I just need some help here

I am finding it hard, to find some good diagrams of pressure points/vital points located all over the body.

I would like to look in further to this stuff, but I just cant find any good diagrams

if you guys found some good ones, I would much appreciate to take a look at them.

If you don't mind the text being in Chinese the Bubishi is an excellent source for this and other info. There is a translation by Patrick Mcarthy that has become one of my bibles.

i don't own the book you mention, but i do own tedeschi's book on hapkido and it has an entire section devoted to pressure points as well as revival techniques (which i would never try w/o a master teaching me). so i would assume that the other book is just more in depth. so i feel safe in recommending it w/o looking at it.

I know of a secret pressure point that is actually activated in a great great many fights, with the person performing the blow almost always being victorious when applying it.

I can only reveal it here if people promise not pass it on.

I am of the mind to make the guy bleed out very fast. You have heard the adage winning their “Hearts and minds”? Well a burst of gunfire to the center chest (heart/aorta) and another to the face (Central nervous system) will usually do just fine.

dude, how many times do we have to go over this??

you dont need to waste time learning pressure points, once you learn how to channel your chi, the only technique you will ever need to know is monkey steals the peach. this way, instead of just ripping the genitals clean off and causing death by blood loss, you can channel your chi into your opponents genitals, sending kinetic energy through his meridians and straight into his heart. kills most people instantly.

                      Here you go:

                      1. Face
                      2. Neck
                      3. Leg
                      4. Arm
                      5. Torso

Anything more precise than that is pretty useless.

                      You're welcome.

You guys are missing the whole point of pressure points. A point that does not require much force. Usually the size of a quarter. For example, lots of guys can take a power blow to the face but not too many can take a blow right on the chin or right below the nose.

Not to mention, in a grappling art if you can apply pressure to the pressure points in the arm, by a grab or crushing block..........strikes under the arm pit, blows behind the knees or at the upper inner thighs. If you've ever been hit in any of these places with real force, the effects are devastating.

thai leg kicks are supposed to be pressure point/nerve attacks. they dont target the thigh muscle like many think, they actually target the leg tendon that is fully exposed right under the muscle but above the knee. the thighs have nerve centers but attacking the actual tendon that holds the leg together is more effective. feel your own leg in that area. kicking that tendon in that spot can have devastating effects on people immediately. if you are doing it right and attacking that tendon directly, most people shouldnt be able to withstand more than a couple of those.
