  • Shannon Lee

Does anyone know what's going on with Shannon Lee? She did play a small part in movie called "Lessons for an Assasin", but I haven't seen her in anything else. Diana Lee Inosanto has played small parts like Blade, and she's in the psychological thriller "The Prodigy" and "The Sensei". What's up with Shannon?

Shannon Lee isnt much of a actress, she probably just will do a small role every once in awhile. Shes more of just a martial artist rather then actress. Shes doing a lot of stuff in Bruce Lee Foundation among other things.

I'll check that out. When it comes to female martial artists in film, I feel that Michele Yeoh and Cynthia Rothrock really made a serious impact on the industry. Who are your five favorite female martial artist?

I agree with you; both women were key actresses in female martial arts movies.

Ever see Tiger Claw with Jalal Merhi, Cynthia Rothrock and Bolo? I believe Kat Sasoon was also in a couple of MA flicks, but didn't have the same impact.

Shannon Lee Keasler has been busy with the Bruce Lee Foundation. She's been steering it in a direction that will that will enable it to exercise more quality controll with respect to how her father and and his art are portrayed in print on online.
Shannon just endorsed a new JKD Book by Teri Tom, "The Straight Lead: The Core Of Bruce Lee's Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do." It looks to be the next best jkd book, Article to follow Jan 2006 Blackbelt mag.
