    Wearing a wig while training By caarike - Fri, 12 Jan 2007 02:57:45 GMT

    =========

    Hi Everyone,

    I'm new here. I was hoping someone could give me some advise. I just had to buy a wig today due to sudden hair loss. I put it off for months but can't hide the baldness anymore.

    Has anyone worn a wig while training? If so, does it stay or should I just "suck it up" and let the wig stay on the stand?

    Thanks for any help!

    Shave your head. It's easier to manage, it looks cool if you can pull it off. Think Angela Featherstone in "Minority Report" Demi Moore in "G.I. Jane" Sigourney Weaver in "Alien 3" and Natalie Portman in "V for Vendetta".

    It's practical, it's better for fighters and for self defense purposes...and it can be a sexy.
    One of my ex's actually had a shaved head when I met her.

      Besides, the advantage of a wig is, you can give it the time off, so no sweating and washing required!

            Can the wig be used as an improvised weapon?

              According to Mr. Miyagi, everything can be a weapon!

                  If all else fails, just take it off and scare'em with 'wig hair'

                    Then why wear the wig in the first place...lol

                    You could hide weapons underneath the wig?

                      It's psychological. Especially for women. A bald woman is a freak (or sick - Chemo) a bald man maybe sexy.

                      But goodness, for the life of me, I don't see why one would even consider to sweat into that expensive thing! Get a bandana for workout and then amaze everybody how quickly you can fix your hair!

                      (girly stuff, urgh!)
