burt i have a question, if im in a situation where i couldnt aoid an attack such as a guy has his hand on my car door and broke my key off in my door when i tried to put it in(i know kinda out there) and i know violene is coming what are some tips for things to do as a pre emptive strike(if one is needed that is) and postures ets to protect myself without looking obvious

Obviously he was too close? Determining his intent should be easy enough long before he gets his hands on you, eh? Then it just a matter of changing his mind about his choice of a victim...
A key can be a decent weapon for raking, poking and can also be a distraction as a projectile. Yell loud and maybe some high kicking JKD hero will come to your aid? LOL

That part was supposed to be funny... The odds are slim that a bystander within earshot will have the balls or the training to render assistance. Obviously you're on your own with the scenario as suggested.
