Hey u all, im new here....i was wondering if any of u have heard of or know my master. His name is Kyong Sik Song (his american name is Edward Song) and he is the head of the OHTC martial arts schools. he is a 9th degree black belt in Hap Ki Do, SHaolin Chuan, Tae Kwon Do, Moo Sa sool, and Tai Chi. He trained the US and korean special forces awhile back. I am fortunate that he lives in dallas and he teaches me and fellow students. I am currently a temporary black belt in Hap Ki Do (im sure u all have heard of it). I live in dallas.

Nope I can't say that I have heard of him. I would be leery of anyone that claimed to have a 9th degree blackbelt in that many styles. It is a little weird that he holds the same rank in that many styles all at the same time. Who was his instructor and what organizations does he hold these ranks in. Did he make up his own organization. Is this the same guy that can supposedly throw a credit card through a wooden wall.

Dr. Edward Song
Hey - too bad I just stumbled across this forum today and not back when your message was first posted. Anyway, maybe I can be of help to others who may still be wondering about Dr. Song. I can tell you he is the real deal. Yep, you got it - 9th degree black belt in 4 martial arts and 10th degree in 1. He was Chuck Norriis' teacher when Chuck was in the service in Korea (before Dr. Song moved to the U.S.). None of this is a big deal to Dr. Song, though. His family honor is his greatest achievement as they have been the leaders in Korea teaching martial arts for over 400 years. His teachers you ask? His father, grandfather, great grandfather, etc, etc.
Do a google search. you can find lots of info there including a list of the 26 books he has written.
