  • Hmmm, martial arts, eh?

    Hi, I'm Zell,
    Norwegian.
    18 years old.
    3 years Judo.
    2 years Tae Kwon Do.
    A little ninjutsu training.
And a whole lot of sparring with people from different styles/arts/
    forms...
    Some weapons training.

Wondering if i am going to take up Kyukoshin kai karate,
    heard it was rather though,
so if anyone know any of it, please, do tell.

      Ok....

Well, ninjutsu is put together by many things...
you learn to use martial arts, called tai-jutsu, and how to use different weapons...
of course there is alot more, like acrobatics, ka-jutsu, how to eliminate your self from your surroundings, and a lot more...

My self, I trained mostly the tai-jutsu, which is actually quite like Jeet Kune Do in that it lets your style be free, and rather teaches you how to do effective punches and kicks, where to hit, and how to maintain balance while figthing...

If I write it all here, it would go on for a while...

If you want to know more about it, search for: Togakure Ryu, Shadows of Iga, or massaki Hatsumi...

p.s. I wrote sensei Hatsumi's name wrong, I don't remember how it is written. And I dont like sensei Stephen k. Hayes, even though he is the successor of Togakure-ryu...
