  • Hey, New Member

Looks like introducing yourself is a big deal here, thought Id jump in:

26 years old, Engineer. Grew up in Colorado, living in AL now (I hate it here).
As a kid, did the TKD/TSD thing. Studied Praying Mantis in HS, and then White Dragon (pai lum) and Northern Shaolin in College. After I graduated I spent some time at Straight Blast Gym with MT/BJJ/JKD, a very short time doing xing yi, and currently working on ngo cho and wing chun. My diversity of style has helped alot with the big picture but it has hindered my development of ability. I have far too much breadth and not enough depth...

I also have a background in TCM, and make (from scratch) and sell several recipes of dit da jow to the martial arts cummunity. A link to my webpage is in my sig if you want to take a look.

I look forward to hearing some good discussions, learning some new things, and contributing some tidbits myself!

    Thanks for reading

Thanks =) I try to live my life by that sig.

Some jow is "tingly". Depends alot on what goes into it. Some of the recipes have things like mentha tend to be more tingly.
I have 2 main recipes, wich have all kinds of stuff in them. Some of the things youve probably heard of would include frankincense, myrrh, angelica, and the mentha mentioned above. In all I use about 30 different herbs between the 2 main recipes and keep several more on hand.

Its good for mucles as well as bone. If you click on the link in my sig, youll see what kinds of things its used for.
