Well,
Not read many of the postings. Certainly no stranger to writing on m.a. forums. definately tend to be controversial and ask in depth questions just to elicit replies and get the juices flowing!
Experience??? 4th dan Wado Ryu karate jutsu.
Started at a local professional boxing gym in the U.K. when I was about 11 yrs. of age. Courtesy of my fathers associations, as he was a "top of the bill" fighter way back when. Trained to a good standard. Boxed in the stablelads boxing and got beat in the quarter finals, all U.K. two years running.
Began karate training at about 20 yrs. (I am 50 now!). Shotokan for a coupla years, bits of goju and wing chun kung fu but predominantly Wado!
Attended loads of seminars, DSI, Dragon Society International, (Rick Moneymaker, Tom Muncy, Russell Stutely, etc.) OCI, Open Circle Institute, (Russell Stutely, Anthony Blades, Eddie Stokes, Peter Holmes, the list could go on and on). I also attend OCFM seminars, (Open Circle Fighting Method), the next of which will be with Steve Morris!
Know a bit about pressure point application, 5 element theory, angle and direction, waveforms, TCM, MWM and stuff that doesn't immediately spring to mind at the moment.
My main aim is to ensure that anyone I teach becomes a better M.A. than I am. Otherwise I am failing as a teacher!
I am a baby and will never stop learning! I don't think I will ever grow up, in that respect.
I will not post unless I have something interesting to say or ask! If my postings receive no replies I shall cease posting!
I hope that I find this forum interesting and that relationships develop. That way we will learn together! I am a great believer in shared knowledge and do not like "I know something you don't know" attitudes.
Get back to me and lets have some fun!!!
Regards,
Monkeyboy.
