  • Hello Everyone!!!!

    Hi everyone,
I have been reading quite a bit later and decided to finally sign up so I can participate in what seems to be a growing communite of martial arts discussion.

Well Im currently a Green belt in Judo In New Zealand. Have enetered a couple of small tournaments and got gold in my grade, and silver in a weight catergory at another one. I have done a small bit of jujitsu but not much.
I am currently thinking of what MA to do to go with my grappling and ground submission techniques. I'm looking at a striking art, but still havnt made my choice yet.

Thanks alot for your time, I look forward to reading your responeses!!

In my area I dont have much option to be honest. In my Dojo Judo is done 6 days a week of all different ages. Jujitsu is also done on the weekend sometimes. The options for striking arts around my area are, Seido Karate, Kenpo Karate, TKD, WTF TKD, Kung Fu (not sure what type) and other ground submission grappling stuff like Vale Tudo and others. So yeah no Muay Thai school or anything in the city I live in, as I see that you guys stand by Muay Thai with experience (especially crazyjoe). Yeah Im still thinking about it. From reading these forums I see that alot of these options are being discussed so Im just reading round and going to go round the different Dojo Halls to see for myself what happens in these arts.

Thankyou Kindly for your responses I really appreciate it

        Thanks
        Scott

I do like MT but I also like Kenpo JKD and some forms of Kung fu and traditional Karate. I wish you luck and I hope you find what you are looking for
