23 from South Africa. Graphic Designer.

Trained in Judo when i was 7... never got far cos i was too light. Currently doing Goju-Ryu karate. Good stuff. Just started in order to cross-train with my Muay Thai - so yeah. Im a Yellow-belt, but my Muay Thai background has done wonders for me. Also getting instructed by a Kyokushin on the side.

Train in Muay Thai mainly. 3 figthts. 2 wins. 1 huge KO loss (to my K-1-trained friend) Need to lose weight so i dont have to fight him again. Plenty of Karate and Muay fights for me this year... God help me.

Also a big passion for swords. Big collection. Big interest in Kenjutsu and Iado . . . only problem - no such schools here in SAfrica.

          Hiya, I'm Tim. I'm 27

          I'm in Virginia Beach

I started in TKD when I was 4. was a first degree for 6 years and then a 2nd degree for about 7 years. Opened my school in highschool and taught full time until about a year and a half ago.

Also have done some Judo, BJJ, Aikido, PPCT and a few others.

I used to spend a lot of time going to an open sparring group and sparring with everything from prokickboxers to Kenpo students to police officers working on their hand to hand.

In the last few years I worked out with an instructor of Chuan Fa which is Muay Thai, Kali, Silat, JKD, and Defendo.

And just last week started training in Krav Maga. I'm not sure that I like it but it's a work out.

I don't know that I have a favorite. I'll study anything I can get my hands on. I have probably 100 martial arts books which I love to study to see if there is anything in them I've never heard of or seen before.
