    Hello!
I am the official self-appointed welcome wagon (with real live old fashioned wagon wheels) of the forums. So hello, and welcome to the forums.

    I love my job.

I'm no good at serious conversation.

But, I shall make a valiant effort. I train because I have always been fascinated by Martial Arts, Self Defense, Fighting and Violence, but always to chicken (I'm socially awkward) to actually train. Finally got my courage up, joined a local club and intend to train forever. Fitness, confidence, and those cool shorts.

                What about you?

ah i understand the whole shyness in training... main reason why i only do personal sessions with my instructors.

besides everything that i said in my intro, my fascination with martials are is much like yours... and i was always envious of all my cousins learning it. they're all guys.. and in my family, at least 3 months of training is mandatory for everyone.. since i'm a girl, i wasn't allowed to train.

i've never been a frail girl, so i enojyed being considered and equal to the guys if not better. martials arts is another way for me to improve myself.

besides all that.. i find it fun.

p.s... i also do this for my freedom. lol. not exactly allowed out by myself unless i have a bodyguard. :-P

p.s.s. fitness, confidence, and those cool shorts. lol. definitely with you on them cool shorts and gi's.
