What does it mean where it says "add to *forum member*'s reputation"?

Everytime you log into the forums find some post by osopardo (that is very important) and click the reputation button. Then type in some positive, complimentary thing such as "The best!" or "This kid's got charasma!"

When youve given osopardo one thousand reputation points Tim Mousel will send you (yes, you!) a free dvd!
