"He lookeh like a man" That was the whole point of becoming incarnate - to be as weak and vulnerable as we are.

The perfection of Jesus has always been understood to mean perfect in those things that matter, not necessarily His physical or temporal qualities. F'rinstance, He never sinned, He never hated (He got angry a few times, but He never hated), He never lusted or coveted or lied or cheated or stole, or disrespected His parents.

BTW, Lizard, Jaysus loooves yew! And so do I!

Sooo... Jesus was perfect and never got sick... but also he was weak and vulnerable because that was the whole point of his existance? Seems a little unfair for you to be using two contradicting arguments at the same time. :S

      Good point on the arguments.

      1. Weak Coorelation or coorelation is not causation.

      2. It sounds like a prelude to genetic superiority or inferiority as a justification to a particular personal quality, depending on how its spun.
Genetic superiority? Everytime we want to have sex with an attractive (physicaly or mentaly) person we are guilty of wanting to have a geneticaly "superior" child, thats the whole point of finding some people more attractive than others, its a measure of how beneficial we think their genes are. Im not denying there is a cultural component, but mainly its instinctive.

        Hey Liz,

Jesus death was the ultimate sacrifice for man's sins. He was God in the flesh. He was perfect in the way he lived his life, preached God's word, helped many and performed miracles that otherwise couldn't have hapened.

I don't think many Christians can truly live like Jesus did, but that is the ultimate goal. Its hard, but you slowly shed things in your life that you consider unchristian. At the same time, some prayers don't get answered; some do.

If you don't believe in God that's cool - its your right. Any reason that you started trolling on religion and God in particular?

He wants us to have free will and the freedom to make choices (even stupid choices), and therefore we do.

ok, so maybe he got sick now and then. He did have a major advantage in such instances, though. A Jewish mom!
