  • need woman advice/emergency

ok heres the sit rep on monday I'm sitting out side of one of my college classes that I just started, when this young woman sits down next to me and we start talking about what we think the class is going to be like. We then go into the class and she's having problems in the class so, I'm helping her the whole time. Same thing on wedesday and today, it's obvoius (to me anyway)that I'm paying her a great degree of attention, probably a bit more than just a helpful classmate. I really like talking to her and want to find a way of seeing if she has a boy friend ect. without the situation being akward because if she does or laughs at me it will suck because we sit right next to each other(my doing) and it's going to be a long semester if I end up looking stupid.I think that there's a chance that she's simply just asking for help and I'm being nice in some pathetic attempt to ask her out. But on the other hand you never no, I usually am at least average at picking up signals (for a guy at least)
    here's some details
    1. she's a younger than me and may not be as adept at giving me a wave off like a woman my own age would be.
    2. I would definately just straight up ask her out in a normal seting
    3. I have a history of finding love intersts in the wrong settings like the m.a. school/gym,the work place (both customers and co-workers) ect. ect ect.
So to try this at school is problematic
I already did the "have a nice weekend comment" (so when she comes back on wed. I can ask her how her weekend was/what she did and then if she gives me an uncomfortable look or says well me and my boyfriend did xyz) I'll at least know the deal and dramatically wrachet down the nice campain to an appropraite level. I'll still help her in classs though. So what's a way to find out if she's seeing someone or is interasted me like I'm interasted in her
without being a fool up in da school.

Just make sure she's not using you or stringing you along to get extra help in class.

      Are you in 6th grade?

Be a man and just ask her out -

If she has a boyfriend you'll find out...

Even if she doesn't - She might still say no.

      So what.

      Next case.

My wife (of 11 years now) was dating someone when we met -

She dumped him after our second date...

And she is still waaaaaaaaaaay out of my league -

      I just keep her drinking...

      Thanks, Danny

it's just that it's just a different setting than the club, work, or the m.a setting so I don't want to get busted out at school in front of others especially.
