Well, I did most of the cleaning and baking, but she did more of the cooking. I dressed more girly, but she had the long braid. Neither of us ignored each other or acted like jerks when our other friends were around, or in order to play adolescent video games. We both paid our bills and did the dishes. Does that answer your question?

By the way, I've just gotten three herb orders since you started this thread, so it's great for business. Thanks!!

Yes, because only men are jerks and you wouldn't have it any other way. Women are....

Allways gotta be the center of attention, huh.

I was referring to a specific kind of jerkdom, that being, "I'm going to pretend that you don't exist because my friends are around." One of my friends was dating a guy for three years and his friends didn't even know they were together. They thought she was just his cycling partner.

I don't know if women habitually do this in relationships too--I've only dated one.

It does seem to me from the guys I talk to that women, on the other hand, expect you to read their mind and it's almost impossible to tell if they like you and they can't seem to answer direct questions. Again not my experience.

Allways gotta be the center of attention, huh.
Yes, and on every wall calendar.

                Congrats.
                Thanks!

Yeah, those 5 minutes we spend shaking our friends hand and playing catch up steal from the relationship...

Suprisingly its not my experience either. Look at the 10% region on the woman's rating chart...

Well then, if you're on every wall calendar and posted on a wall that wouldn't make you the center of the room now, would it?

Somehow I make a distinction between guys spending five minutes (or even three or four nights a week) catching up or spending time with friends, to the situation I mentioned where my friend's significant other of three years had buddies who had no idea they were together... Good thing they didn't have kids, I'm sure daddy would have ignored them, too, so he could be "cool."

And no, relax, I'm not saying all guys do this.

Yes, and I know many good lizard calendars if you are interested.

Well looks like the guy figured out that your 'friend' was the kind of girl that had to have the chase, likes jerks and was gettin' good lovin' - which is why she stayed with him for 3 years.

Female logic never ceases to amaze me. You dump a guy who pays attention to you, treats you well and does stuff for you for a guy who ignores you, treats you badly and doesn't do jack for you...what's the missing link ?

                        Did you get dumped recently?

But I hear ya, I told her that for months! I have also met guys who dump the gals that pay attention to them, treat them well and do stuff for them for gals that ignore them, treat them badly and don't do jack for them... and cheat on them, and want their guys to buy them stupid expensive presents they don't need, and spazz out over inconsequential, miniscule things which they proceed to bring up every couple of months forever. Please explain that to me, someone. Are these guys just insecure?

My only problem with the "nice guy" you described is that so many of them are pacifists, thus rendering all of their good qualities moot. What woman wants to have to walk her date to his car so he'll get home safely?

Nope. I'm doing o.k. in that department...

Same situation as I mentioned, just reverse.

lol....good question. I don't think there's a guy on this site that condones that behavior.

So if the situation reversed is the same thing, why did you call it "female logic"?

If you're doing so well in that department, why are you posting ladder theory articles and drooling over the idea of pin-up calendars with Cakegirl, polegirl, missteak and Sensei Saki?

Just a couple questions for you on an early Thursday morning.

This is primarily a female phenomenon.

I noticed you haven't commented on the accuracy and validty of ladder theory . Not that I totally agree with it, but someone somewhere has put together some keen observations from what sounds like years of experience.

Cakegirl, Polegirl, Missteak and Sensei Saki (the robot) are funny, friendly and feminine.

Your friendly too, just not on all days that end with the letter y.
