Wonderful pitbulls! Ever wonder why they're called "pit" bulls? Not just bull dogs? Could it be the breed was created specifically for fighting in pits? Hmmm?
How does a breed specifically developed physically and temperamentally for fighting become a gentle loving pet? 'scuse me while I go pet my rattlesnake...

Just trying to prove a point. I agree the pictures are disgusting but sometimes shock value is necessary. I never heard of this kind of severe damage being caused by other breeds of dogs.

Picture was too big.
That was my pet, with a towel over her head right after her bath.
We picked her up for free from a kennel where she'd been abandoned. She's so gentle the cat chases her!
