Without publicity Jackson would fade into the wallpaper like he should have years ago. If he doesn't get his mug on TV regularly, he can't get people (and groups, politicians, companies, etc) to donate to his *ahem* foundation, and he can't demand big speaking fees, and he can't peddle himself off as an 'expert' to do the talk show circuit.

    Don't be dense.

You call him an attention whore, but it would be so funny to see how long it would take for your punk ass to assume the fetal position and start screaming for Jesse Jackson to come save you if you were one of the captives. I'd give you less than an hour.

More useless, juvenile speculation from the pUke...

...and then the rest of pUke's inane rambling was apparently attempting to draw conclusions from completely unrelated 'issues'

          need I say it?...............

But the point is that regardless of your petty diatribes, the man has personally done amazing things in the last 23 years. Currently he has negotiated the release of 26 men to date. I have no need to defend Jackson. You have every reason to attack him because he and men like him succeed despite the opinions of lesser men like yourself.

You wouldn't go for any reason. Stop trying to pretend like you can justify not going by making assumptions about why Jackson went. You're a coward, and nothing will change that. Not even the little soliloquy you wrote about describing how you survived a fight at TGIF's.

As they say, its easier to kill a coward than to insult him. So I'm done here.

there is another reason for running for political office other than winning. MONEY. You get to keep your campaign funds you don't use. So as long as he stays in the public eye, he can get paid for his rainbow group and he can run for some office and make some extra cash when he needs too.

the fact is, jesse jacksons security wasnt even guaranteed on some of the trips he made to foreign countries to free others, so inmop there is a degree of selflessness that mr jackson has displayed before.

and cmon, all politicians are shady as **** and they all have their hands into some shady business but thats how it goes when you are a politician. its a part of the game. they are all human like the rest of us and arent immune from giving into their desires and temptations. however there are way worse politicians out there who scam people way worse and dont even bother to come to the aid of anyone else like uke mentioned.
